5 Party Looks for All of Your Holiday Soirees

It's that time of year again; when you're swept from party to party to celebrate the holidays with every person you've ever met. You're probably tired of wearing the same two dresses to every single soiree, so here are some tips for changing it up!

1. The Office Party
Try something a bit more conservative for the office party that can easily transition from work-to-play. Layer on a blazer and a great statement necklace, while a low pair of heels will look work appropriate and festive.

2. The Family Dinner
Since this is probably a more low-key affair, there's no need to whip out a cocktail dress for this one. But, keep it classy with a tailored look: festive pants and jewel-toned jacket are nice but not overdressed.

3. The Cocktail Party
You will most likely be going to a few of these, so its important to find a few dresses that really stand out but that you can wear again. I love this Zara dress because the ruffle detail keeps it from being too simple. A luxe fur coat and strappy sandals are great go-to holiday items that you can wear to each cocktail party!

4. The Gift Exchange with the Gals
Another low-key event, you want to dress with comfort AND style in mind. I love this maxi dress because it can be worn with a cool pair of pointed-toe pumps, but also booties and flats (depending on your level of fancy). A biker jacket keeps the look casual, while a statement necklace and brocade bag make it holiday worthy.

5. The Ugly Sweater Party
Though I don't actually own an ugly holiday sweater, I can appreciate them for their kitsch. Dress it up with am embellished skirt, but keep it from being over-the-top with a pair of low-heeled booties.
