The Fall 2011 ad campaigns have been finding their way onto the internet in the last few weeks. While most of them are great, here are a few of my favorites (check out all of them on The Cut). My favorite ads are the ones with the freshest styling, in which the designer took a departure from what is normal for them and adapted to the every-changing world of fashion and trends.
Isabel Marant went more minimalist, with this black-and-white and almost-bare shot of Freja Beha Erichsen.
While D&G stuck to their pattern of group shots, their mix of prints and colors, and background of (what looks like) a tunnel, give the campaign a new edge.
Miuccia Prada proves she is a fashion chameleon, moving on from the dramatic shots of bold stripes and patterns, to a campaign of lounging models in soft colors with ladylike details.
Marc Jacobs's newest muse, Helena Bonham Carter, serves as the model for his newest ad campaign, proving that even though you may not be 16 or a size 0, you can still work it.
For her menswear campaign, Prada called on talented actor Tobey McGuire, who looks handsome, mysterious, pensive. I'm personally just excited that Tobey is making his mark in fashion!
Ok, aren't these just killer boots? I think so.
